HOW NOT TO GET CAUGHT is a 290 page, non fiction, R-rated, self-help, humor book about dating and relationships -- a comedy version of Neil Strauss' "The Game."
A major area covered is how to deal with social media and dating apps such as Facebook and Tinder, respectively... and all the possible problems a guy could face because of these apps while trying to date one girl (or five).
It also thoroughly covers how to date-proof the rest of your life and surroundings your home, your cell, your car, etc. Oh, and did I mention it also covers threesomes, hooking up with sisters roommates, twins and lesbians? Well, it covers all that and much more!
The book is written in first person -- very conversational -- from one guy to another. But is it just for men? No. Women will learn from it as well, especially in regard to how men think.
Am I 6'2", all-american good looks and have money coming out the wazoo? No. I'm 5'5", average looking and can barely pay my rent...BUT, I've slept with hundreds and hundreds of women. How? Well, I'm not going to tell you here. Read the book!

Okay - heh heh - it's can sometimes be hard to differentiate between whether this book is comedy or self-help - because it's really both. It's an incredibly entertaining read about an under-serviced subject, which is the following. Men are built to consider - to be able to consider - more options for a mate than women (sorry ladies) - but women seem to want to build a 'no-competition' clause into every relationship, no matter how casual (you think) it is. Personally, while not being a lawyer, not only is this kind of a pain in the butt for gentlemen who are capable of servicing numerous mating options each day or week in order to better generate an informed decision about a future family, I do believe that if one takes a look at the federal anti-trust and hegemony statutes in this country, that it's also illegal. But women, being the remorselessly hard-bitten agenda-driven creatures that they are don't care about the law. This being the case, a little creativity needs to be deployed when giving each of them a fair shake in the mating lottery (prize: you) while simultaneously democratically giving other women their own fair shot at the American dream. Enter: THIS BOOK. It's full of helpful tips, hilarious anecdotes and solid polygamy hacks that I - as a bit of a veteran in this area (or at least I thought I was) - had never even considered before.In summary, when you get down to it, in one sense this book is for the guys - but it's also equally for the girls - because what they never ever know can't possibly hurt them. And hurting people is bad. So - if you don't like hurting people, this is the book for you.

Never mind, it's here now and I couldn't be happier. An exhaustive, indispensable guide to playing the field and not getting tripped up before plunging into the end zone. And by "end zone" I mean -- well, you know what I mean.
Author Nielsen combines hilarious, ribald stories with incredibly valuable tips on how to maneuver dating apps and social media. I never knew how many ways you can get "caught!"
A worthy and valuable addition to books on dating -- in my opinion going to the top of the list.
I didn't realize I needed this book, until I read it. In fact, before I stumbled across it, I figured my life was going to be a joyride of Casanova vignettes, followed by a series of apologies, guilt, and lame explanations that usually begin with, 'I don't know how [fill in the blank] got there ...' A lotta ups and downs, is what I'm saying. Like Dan, I love the ladies. Unlike Dan, I never mastered the art of not breaking hearts. THIS BOOK, is a guide for not breaking hearts. In fact, Dan should retitle it, 'How Not To Break Hearts' (or maybe that'll be the sequel).
Dan (we're on a first name basis now) will guide you through the trips and traps you'll never see coming. He'll open up your world to often very pragmatic methods of making sure YOU don't screw up and get caught by one of the many women you're dating. Seriously - it's an eye-opener.
AND, to top it off, Dan (I need to buy you a beer, bro) relates his own experiences - how he learned to 'play the game' as they say - through a series of stories that are pretty frickin' hilarious and totally unsuitable to share around the family dinner table.
The point is - if you want to survive and excel within the modern dating scene, read this!
