I know this book is done by a ghostwriter penned as VC Andrews. I purchased the book due to the authors name.In all honesty I have not read many of the VC Andrew novel's after the complete Logan series and one of Hudson books. I just lost interest and changed genres.
I was quite surprised with the change in the style of writing.
I did not complete this book in a single sitting or a few for that matter. I just couldn't get that into the book.
I really can't say anything negative about the book, but there really isn't anything great about the book either.
I am quite on the fence about whether or not I'm going to try any of the other series or solo books again.
So as I have said in my other reviews I would leave it up to you to decide if you are going to venture into a new book. Not everyone forms the same opinion about a book, and the only way to form your own opinion is to actually form one by reading said book.

The story not original it is one that been told before by other authors. this is one book I didn't like by her and I do like her books, but wasn't worth buying this time!

I've got to say that i love the recent V.C. Andrews books, however this book wasn't good! It wasn't the worst book ever written but certainly not the best! The beginning is good when she lost her daughter and kept the story moving, until the 2nd chapter! The 2nd chapter until the last one seemed to drag and not much action. There was a couple of love scenes that was even boring. It got really good towards the end and there isn't any cliff hangers!
What an extremely boring book. I can hardly believe it's a VC Andrews book. I tried to appreciate the story, but I ended up skimming through pages, then skipping many pages entirely. The ending is unpredictable, yet boring, just like the rest of the story.
The most boring book, I have ever ready, in my entire life.... really.

VC Andrews herself, would have never written this book, and I do wish the family and ghost writers would increase their quality and stop being so greedy. For example... an E Book, And old book, should never cost 20.00.... I bought the Hunger Games Trilogy for that, all 3 books! Get a grip guys. it's Sad, I used to love these books.
Well, I definitely agree with all the other one and two star reviews.....absolutely boring and stupid. It started out and held my attention for the first 45 or so pages, then, tank!!!! Who cared who wore the Santa outfit? Not me. We all know that the VC Andrews books are ghost written by Neidermann, but come on, this was such a horrible story, it felt like he just tried to release something with the "Andrews" label on it for a quick buck. Very stupid. Go back to writing the betrayal and deviant books that made her famous. I have always been a huge fan of the originals (and some of the Neidermann books,) but they just keep getting more stupid and boring. Please try to put out a good horror book. Don't waste even $5 on this download, and what ever you do, don't buy the hardback.
I've been reading VC Andrews books since I was a kid. I am 50 years old and have NEVER been disappointed. This book was no different. Loved the book. Different from most that I've read and just as good. Every time I get to the end and they give you a sample of the next book, I buy it every time. I will always be a fan, even with her ghost writer! Thank you for still writing. I look forward to every book that I haven't read.
